Tonight We Tanqueray

This week Covent Garden was graced with an illustrious Gin Pop-Up Palace. Celebrating the birthday of Tanqueray's brand founder Charles Tanqueray, Slam PR teamed up with The Persuaders agency to create Tanqueray Gin Palace for three nights only. 

A dream for any Gin lover the room was lined with the distinct green liquor bottles and the bar was staffed with top cocktail shakers. Occasional collections of limes and jewels were scattered on surfaces, a pianist keyed from a corner and a large portrait of Mr Tanqueray himself watched down upon our evening antics. 

Taking a night off from our beloved vino, myself and my favourite plus one (equals twoooo) girl Sophie, enjoyed 'London Calling' and 'Tanqueray Palace Punch' cocktails followed with (perhaps one too many) classic Tanqueray Gin and Tonics. We particulary loved the giant stained-glass glasses and speculated throughout the evening on how best to sneak two out with us! We resisted, being good catholic girls after all!..
